Mysterious Wonderment takes you on a journey of Alzheimer’s disease.
It begins by telling the story of a woman’s relationship with her mother and her family. The next phase of the book takes you on a trip of her first encounter with Alzheimer’s disease with her aunt, followed by a series of events that would eventually serve as a tipping point for her mother and brother’s imminent struggle with the disease. After months of avoiding her assignment, the worldwide pandemic appeared and Sandra had to face her fears, continue grieving while in seclusion, and write her loved ones Alzheimer’s story. But just as David inquired of the Lord and was victorious over the Amalekites (1 Samuel 30:8), God would help Sandra do the same. Once God gave his answer to pursue, he used people that she had no relationships with as pathways to offer encouragement and to complete the story. This book is about love, relationships, perseverance, and healing! Would Sandra have continued on the journey if God had not put something deep down within her? This project began and so did her healing, and now, it can help heal others. The love that her mother and brother had for mankind resonates in conversations shared by everyone they knew. Lois and Greg were not boastful people, but folks who were always ready to lend a hand. Those who knew them loved them and love is what matters most.
